These free six-week workshops, which focus on helping people live fuller, healthier lives in the face of ongoing health conditions, will be offered in Bemidji and Walker, Minnesota. They are sponsored by MeritCare and offered for free. Participants learn skills such as problem solving, goal setting, relaxation techniques, and ways to deal with difficult emotions, pain, fatigue, and stress.

Annual Maple Syruping Day

At the Audubon Center of the North Woods, Sandstone, MNCome for a delicious pancake brunch with our own maple syrup then head out to learn and assist in the various phases of maple syrup production, from tapping trees to collecting sap to boiling it down into syrup.
