Pet Pictures

Brush up your pet—and your photographic skills—and snap a photo of your pet "puttin' on the Ritz." It's time once again for the annual pet photo contest sponsored by the Headwaters Animal Shelter in Park Rapids.

Deadline for entries is June 15, 2010. People can vote for their favorite photos at community events or at the shelter through Aug. 31. Winners will be selected by the public and announced Sept. 1.

The first place winner becomes the reigning "Headwaters Cover Model" and appears on the cover of their 2011 calendar. Twelve more photos will be selected to grace the twelve months of the year. All entrants' photos will be published in the calendar.
