8. Two words: Harry Potter. I am a huge fan. The books are amazing. Make sure you read them ALL. They are so much better than the movies (I love the movies, too, however). Get them on CD if you don't have time to read. My favorite is book 4, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (although at the time I am writing this list, the last book has not come out yet).
