What you'll need.
1. Adobe Acrobat Reader. Most computers have this software already installed. If not, you can download a free copy at: www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.
2. WinZip if you are using a PC or Stuffit if you are using a Mac. The LCJM Digital Edition is a ZIP file, which means it is condensed to allow you to load it quickly and easily. WinZip and Stuffit expand the file to its original parameters so that it can be read. Many computers have WinZip or Stuffit software already installed. If not, you can download a copy free (stuffit is not free) at: www.winzip.com or www.stuffit.com
How to download the LCJM Digital Edition
1. Click on the "DOWNLOAD LCJM PDF NOW" link at the top of this page to download the Digital Edition to your hard drive.
2. Once the file appears on your desktop, double click to "unzip" it.
How to view.
1. To view the magazine in a two-page-spread format, like you would if you were reading it in print, choose the Facing Pages option (the button that looks like two pages side-by-side) located in the lower right hand corner of the window (Figure 1). Or, click on the View menu, go down to Page Layout and choose "Facing" (Figure 2).
2. There are several ways to adjust the size of the pages to create the best viewing experience for you. You can enlarge or decrease the size of the pages using the percent field. You can also increase the size of the page by clicking on the magnifying glass icon. (Figure 3) Or you can size the page to fit the screen by clicking on the small arrow next to the percent filed and then clicking on "Fit."
3. As an added feature, you can link directly to an advertiser's website or a featured webpage for more information. Just roll your mouse over the ad and click on the web address that appears.
