Use of Classified Ads
The classified ad section is for private, non-commercial ads only, with the exception of employment and commercial space for rent. Our classified ads are a service for the north central region of Minnesota and their use is therefore limited to those with a 218 or 320 area code.
Placement and Payment
Your ad will appear on our website within 48 hours after it is posted. All ads will expire automatically at the end of 14 days. Advertisers may re-post ads again after this expiration.
Payment for the additional second page (Classified Plus) is for 14 days from initial publication of the ad on our website and cannot be refunded for early withdrawal or cancellation.
Because we realize the concern users may have in doing business online, and the importance of protecting our users' identification, rest assured that all credit card transactions with LAKE COUNTRY JOURNAL MAGAZINE / Evergreen Press of Brainerd, LLC are secured by the encryption of our server. We will never share any user information regarding personal contact information or financial (credit card) information.
Privacy
Replies to the classified ads are to phone numbers only. For the advertiser's privacy, we do not publish e-mail addresses.
All personal information collected by LAKE COUNTRY JOURNAL MAGAZINE / Evergreen Press of Brainerd, LLC will be held in confidence and will not be rented, sold, or made available in any form to outside parties. Remember, however, that when you post your personal information (name, e-mail address, etc.), that information may be collected by others outside the control of LAKE COUNTRY JOURNAL MAGAZINE / Evergreen Press of Brainerd, LLC, and may result in unsolicited messages from others.

NOTICE TO THOSE PLACING TRIBUTES: Obituary information for a Tribute must be submitted to us by the funeral home to ensure accuracy. To be free, it must fit within the same character limitations as the classified ads. A second page, with photos is available for a small fee (see the classified ad listings). The use of our free memorial listings are available to those with a direct local connection to our coverage area. This can mean any of the following: 1. The deceased lived in our coverage area at the time of death; 2. A direct survivor of the deceased (parent, sibling, child) currently lives in our coverage area; 3. The funeral or burial services will be held in our coverage area, or a local funeral home is in charge of arrangements. In other cases —for example, when the only local connection is that the deceased formerly lived in our coverage area, or that a more distant survivor lives here -- the notice may not be published.
Liability
Because individual advertisers e-mail their ads to our website (no phone-in ads, please), LAKE COUNTRY JOURNAL MAGAZINE / Evergreen Press of Brainerd, LLC cannot be liable for advertisements lost or misdirected by email. Abuse
LAKE COUNTRY JOURNAL MAGAZINE / Evergreen Press of Brainerd, LLC reserves the right to refuse posting for ads which we deem inappropriate for any reason. Report abuse. Changes to Terms and Conditions
LAKE COUNTRY JOURNAL MAGAZINE / Evergreen Press of Brainerd, LLC reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions as needed. Advance notice of any changes will be posted on the Terms and Conditions page of this website prior to their enactment.
