Bemidji Spring Arts Show!

Immerse yourself in the visual arts this weekend as you experience Bemidji in the springtime. The Artists of Minnesota Spring Show will be held May 15–17 at the Hampton Inn on the south shore of Lake Bemidji, 1019 Paul Bunyan Drive South.
The exhibit is open to the public from 1 – 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sunday. Browse through works submitted by artists from throughout the state of Minnesota, and cast a ballot for your favorites in the People’s Choice voting.
Two demonstrations will bring artistic techniques to life—Saturday, 2 – 4 p.m., watercolor artist Jan Freeman; and Sunday, 9 – 11 a.m., Maureen O’Brien, working in acrylics.
The show will be judged by Natalia Himmirska Klyova, a professor of fine arts at Bemidji State University. The show is sponsored by the Northern Artists and Gallery North, with support from the Region 2 Arts Council.
Good show! Good time! And some pieces of art will be available for sale! For more information, visit the Artists of Minnesota website.
And if you know of another art event in Lake Country, let us know. Just register or sign in to comment. We like to hear from you!
